Lieutenant Douglass

On Friday Sam was commissioned into the U.S. Army. No, he won't be going to boot camp or fighting in Iraq. The army will pay for the next four years of school, then after Sam's residency, for four years we're at the army's command. Sam will be a Doctor in the army and we'll go wherever they send us. (Which might not be so bad considering there is a base in Italy, Germany, and Hawaii among other places). I'm excited for him to have this opportunity to serve the country and be exposed to military medicine for a while.

Sam's brother and wife and kids moved to Denver this week! I've really been missing this baby:

So its nice to have nieces around. And any family period. Dena is the queen of DIY and its rubbed off a bit. So off I go to hobby lobby to buy some spray paint. Happy Monday!
