Cinderella

While I love having a clean house, I don't love spending forever cleaning. So usually I just keep it clean. But sometimes I just DON'T want to do the dishes. Most of the time I would rather throw my clothes on the floor than on a hanger or in a drawer. My freshman year I went 3 months without making my bed. It's a lot easier to leave clothes in the dryer forever rather than folding them. But it's amazing what a clean place will do for me. It clears my mind, makes me more productive, and it's a heck of a lot easier to find stuff. (and Sam is happier when he comes home. But maybe that's just because he's happy he doesn't have to clean up my mess that was there when he left the house.) I used to make fun of my mom because she never thought the house was clean enough. I had to remind her we weren't living in a Martha Stewart magazine. What do ya know, she passed the need for cleanliness onto me. . . I realize the before pictures aren't that bad. . . That's bad for me though. Which just goes to show how like my mom I am.

  1. Cute blog! I'm glad I found it. And by the way, story of my life. So hard to clean up, but I'm always so glad when I do.
