We're spending the month of October in Washington state while Sam does his last audition rotation with the military. He had a long weekend so we decided to tour the Oregon Coast and had such a good time. You know those vacations that just work? The ones where every activity pans out, you make good timing,you have amazing weather, and everywhere you choose to eat ends up being really good? That was this short weekend.
Sam used to go camping with his family on the Oregon Coast when he was younger but this was my first time seeing it. The unique beauty of forest meeting sea with haystack rocks is incredible. We stayed in Newport and Seaside. I loved the gray cedar beach houses with white trim. We went to the Oregon Aquarium, Cannon Beach, Indian Beach, and toured the Tillamook Cheese Factory. What an amazing place!
